ChrisManaging Director

Chris Salmon is the driving force behind Salmon Solutions, bringing over 35 years of experience in the Hard Metal Roofing Industry to the helm. Known for his industry knowledge and hands-on leadership.

A quantity surveyor by trade, Chris has extensive experience in all construction practices including contractual matters, managing budgets, and ensuring quality standards are met on each and every project.

Under his guidance, Salmon Solutions has grown into an industry leader in its field of specialist Hard Metal and Single Ply Roofing. Chris is a passionate individual and is a past chairman and council member of the FTMRC.

CharlieDirector

Charlie Whitman is Director of Salmon Solutions, overseeing day-to-day operations with a sharp eye for detail and a deep commitment to excellence. Charlie ensures that every project runs smoothly, on time, and on budget. Charlie has extensive expertise in cost management, project surveying, and contract management to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsible for managing budgets, compliance and contract agreements. He uses his experience to ensure that resources are used efficiently throughout the project lifecycle and thrives on optimising processes, supporting the team, and building strong client relationships. His ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution makes him a key leader in driving Salmon Solutions forward.

TracyFinance/Office Manager

Tracy Fogarty serves as the Office and Finance manager at Salmon Solutions, where she oversees the day-to-day administrative operations and manages the company’s financial processes with precision and care. Her attention to detail, organisational expertise, and commitment to efficiency help ensure that the business runs smoothly behind the scenes.

With a strong background in office management and accounting, Tracy plays a key role in maintaining operational stability, supporting the wider team, and fostering a professional and productive work environment. Her proactive approach and reliability make her an integral part of the Salmon Solutions team.

BenSenior Estimator

Ben Stiles is an Estimator at Salmon Solutions, where he plays a crucial role in providing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for projects. With extensive experience in both Hard Metal and Single Ply Roofing, Ben’s expertise ensures that our clients receive well-informed, competitive bids that align with both their financial and operational objectives.

Ben is known for his meticulous attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to forecast costs with precision. His deep understanding of industry standards allows him to develop reliable estimates that support the success of every project.

As a valued member of the Salmon Solutions team, Ben’s contributions are key to ensuring that projects are delivered on budget and exceed client expectations.

LeeContracts Manager

Lee Ratcliff is a Contracts Manager at Salmon Solutions, where he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. With extensive experience in project management and a strong background in the Hard Metal and Single Ply Roofing industry.  Lee oversees project timelines and resources to ensure that each project meets the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Known for his leadership, organisational skills, and strategic problem-solving, Lee effectively coordinates teams, ensuring that every phase of the project is executed efficiently and within scope. His attention to detail, combined with his ability to adapt to challenges, ensures smooth project execution and optimal outcomes for clients.

CharlieTrainee Estimator

Charlie is a Trainee Estimator at Salmon Solutions, supporting the commercial team with the preparation of quotations, tender submissions, cost planning, and project take-offs across roofing and cladding packages.

Working closely with senior estimators and project managers, Charlie is developing a detailed understanding of hard metals, standing seam roofing, single ply systems, and façade solutions. His role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, obtaining supplier quotations, analysing project requirements, and helping to ensure competitive and accurate pricing for clients.

With a proactive approach and strong attention to detail, Charlie is committed to delivering reliable pre-construction support while continually expanding his technical knowledge of the roofing and cladding industry. He is passionate about building long-term relationships with clients and suppliers and contributing to the successful delivery of projects from enquiry through to completion.
