Cherry Garden School, Peckham
Cherry Garden School, a specialist educational facility in Peckham, underwent a transformative redevelopment to create a vibrant, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment. The architectural vision by Hawkins Brown was brought to life through the use of TECU® Gold, a copper-aluminium alloy from KME, chosen for its warm, golden tone and evolving patina.
The standing seam cladding, fabricated and installed by us, provides a refined, durable envelope that complements the school’s civic presence. The material’s natural weathering process ensures the building will age gracefully, reflecting the dynamic character of the surrounding community.
Leigh-on-Sea, Essex
Located in the sought-after coastal town, this contemporary residential development showcases the beauty and longevity of Aurubis Standard Copper as a premium architectural façade material. Designed with a modern aesthetic in mind, the project combines clean lines, high-quality detailing and natural materials to create a building that sits comfortably within its coastal surroundings.
We were appointed to install the Aurubis Standard Copper standing seam cladding system, delivering a striking external envelope that enhances both the form and texture of the development. The standing seam profile provides a crisp, contemporary appearance while celebrating the natural character of the copper finish.
One of the most distinctive qualities of copper is its ability to evolve over time. Beginning with a bright metallic appearance, the material gradually weathers through a rich spectrum of warm brown tones as it oxidises naturally. This process allows the building to develop its own unique character while blending harmoniously with the surrounding coastal environment.
Installed using traditional standing seam techniques, the copper cladding provides exceptional durability, weather resistance and longevity, ensuring the building will continue to perform and mature beautifully for decades to come.

Iverson Road, North London
Situated in North London, the Iverson Road development is a contemporary residential scheme that demonstrates the enduring appeal of natural copper as an architectural façade material. Designed by David Miller Architects, the project combines modern design principles with carefully selected materials to create a distinctive and sustainable addition to the local streetscape.
We were appointed to install Aurubis Nordic Standard Copper standing seam cladding, chosen for its natural mill finish and exceptional durability. The standing seam system complements the building’s clean architectural lines, creating a refined and elegant façade that enhances the contemporary character of the development.
A unique feature of the copper cladding is its ability to evolve over time. Beginning with its natural metallic appearance, the material gradually develops a rich protective patina through exposure to the elements. This natural ageing process not only increases the material’s longevity but also introduces warmth, depth and individuality to the building, allowing it to mature gracefully within its urban setting.

Emmanuel College, Cambridge
Working in collaboration with Gilbert-Ash and Stanton Williams Architects, Salmon Solutions delivered specialist roofing and cladding works as part of the redevelopment at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, one of the University’s most respected and historic colleges.
The project required a roofing solution that would complement the architectural significance of the college while providing exceptional long-term performance. To achieve this, Aurubis Standard Copper was selected for its durability, timeless appearance and ability to naturally develop a protective patina as it ages.
Our scope of works included the installation of standing seam copper roofing alongside Proteus Cladding systems, creating a cohesive and visually striking external envelope. The standing seam roof delivers clean, elegant lines that respect the surrounding historic architecture, while the copper’s natural ageing process ensures the building will continue to evolve and mature gracefully over time.
