Plas Dorlan, Cowbridge
Plas Dorlan is a striking three-storey residential development comprising eight high-quality apartments in the historic market town of Cowbridge, South East Wales. Designed with a contemporary architectural aesthetic, the scheme required a durable and visually distinctive façade solution capable of delivering both long-term performance and modern appeal.
During the summer of 2021, we were appointed to install Mazzonetto Vestis Green Aluminium Standing Seam Cladding as part of the building’s external envelope package. The distinctive green finish was carefully selected to enhance the development’s architectural character, creating a bold yet elegant appearance that complements both the contemporary design and the surrounding environment.
Our experienced team fabricated and installed the standing seam cladding system to the highest standards, delivering crisp lines, precise detailing and a high-quality finish throughout. The aluminium system offers excellent durability, low maintenance requirements and outstanding resistance to weathering, making it an ideal choice for modern residential developments.
The completed project provides a visually striking and robust external envelope, helping to define Plas Dorlan as a landmark residential development within Cowbridge.
Merry Harbour, Bosham
Merry Harbour is a beautifully designed self-build home located in the picturesque coastal village of Bosham, West Sussex. Set within one of the South Coast’s most desirable locations, the project combines contemporary architecture with carefully selected materials to create a striking and durable family home.
We were delighted to be involved in this bespoke development, working closely with both the client and architect to deliver a roofing package tailored to the project’s design aspirations. Drawing on our specialist knowledge and experience, we provided practical guidance throughout the installation process to help achieve the desired architectural finish.
Our scope of works included the installation of PREFA Aluminium Roofing, supported by a timber substrate construction, together with a complete Lindab steel rainwater goods system. The PREFA aluminium roof was chosen for its lightweight properties, durability and clean contemporary appearance, making it ideally suited to the coastal environment. The Lindab rainwater system complements the roofing finish while providing reliable and effective rainwater management.
Through close collaboration with the design team, we successfully delivered a roofing solution that combines performance, longevity and exceptional aesthetics, creating a home that sits comfortably within its coastal surroundings.
Rye Lane, Peckham
Located in the heart of Peckham, Rye Lane is home to the acclaimed Forza Wine rooftop bar and restaurant, a vibrant destination that reflects the creativity and energy of one of London’s most dynamic neighbourhoods. Named by Time Out as one of London’s most desirable places to live, Peckham provides the perfect backdrop for this unique rooftop venue, offering customers spectacular panoramic views across the capital.
Constructed above a distinctive Edwardian building, the project presented a fantastic opportunity to create a striking architectural statement while respecting the character of the existing structure. Working closely with PREFA and principal contractor Frame Property, we were appointed to deliver the specialist cladding package for this landmark development.
Our scope involved the installation of approximately 400m² of PREFA aluminium serrated profile cladding, including the complete supporting substructure. The serrated profile creates a bold and contemporary façade, adding texture, depth and visual interest to the rooftop extension while complementing the industrial character of the surrounding area.
The success of the project was built on close collaboration between all parties, with meticulous attention to detail applied throughout the design, fabrication and installation process. The result is a distinctive architectural feature that has helped establish Forza Wine as one of Peckham’s most recognisable rooftop destinations.
Stewards House Ascot Racecourse
Ascot Racecourse is one of the most prestigious racecourses in the United Kingdom, renowned worldwide for its rich heritage and the annual Royal Ascot meeting, a tradition dating back to 1711. Situated at the entrance to the Grandstand and Parade Ring, The Stewards House occupies a prominent position within the racecourse and is one of the first buildings seen by the more than 300,000 visitors who attend Royal Ascot each year.
Working alongside Triton Building Restoration, we were appointed to undertake the specialist roofing refurbishment of this important historic listed building. The project demanded a solution that would preserve the character of the property while delivering the long-term performance expected from a modern roofing system.
In close collaboration with PREFA Aluminium, our experienced team installed approximately 600m² of PREFA Aluminium Batten Roll Roofing across 11 individual roof areas. The complexity of the project required meticulous planning and attention to detail to ensure the roofing works integrated seamlessly with the building’s historic architectural features.
The completed refurbishment has provided a durable, weather-resistant roofing solution while maintaining the heritage appearance of one of Ascot Racecourse’s most recognisable buildings. The project stands as a testament to the successful combination of traditional craftsmanship, modern materials and specialist installation expertise.
Burgess Hill Community Centre
The Burgess Hill Community Centre is a modern community facility designed to provide a welcoming and versatile space for local residents. Working in partnership with TG Escapes, we delivered the installation of a high-quality external cladding system that combines contemporary aesthetics with exceptional durability and low-maintenance performance.
Our scope of works involved the installation of PREFA Anthracite Standing Seam Cladding, creating a sleek and refined façade that enhances the building’s architectural character. The anthracite finish provides a bold, modern appearance, while the standing seam profile introduces depth, texture and clean visual lines across the exterior.
Manufactured from lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminium, the PREFA system offers outstanding longevity and performance, making it ideally suited to public buildings where durability and minimal maintenance are key requirements. Through careful planning, precise installation and close collaboration with the wider project team, we successfully delivered a robust and visually striking building envelope.
The completed community centre benefits from a contemporary façade that not only elevates the building’s appearance but also provides long-term protection against the elements, ensuring the facility will continue serving the local community for years to come.
St John the Baptist, Woking
St John the Baptist School in Woking benefited from a modern façade enhancement through the installation of PREFA P.10 Moss Green Standing Seam Cladding. The project required a durable, low-maintenance cladding solution that would provide long-term performance while creating a distinctive architectural appearance befitting a contemporary educational environment.
Our experienced team was responsible for the installation of the PREFA aluminium standing seam system, utilising the striking P.10 Moss Green finish to deliver a façade that complements both the school grounds and surrounding landscape. The carefully selected colour creates a welcoming and timeless aesthetic while maintaining the clean, contemporary lines associated with standing seam construction.
